'75 Topps Mini Revisited

One of the all-time most beloved sets is the 1975 Topps baseball mini parallel set. The bright bold colors of the '75's make them fun to look at. This set is also quite popular with collectors, at least in part due to the fact that the Rookie Cards of George Brett, Gary Carter, Keith Hernandez, Fred Lynn, Jim Rice and Robin Yount are all in the set.
Today, I received my first 1975 Topps mini relic. The "Worlds Fattest Vegetarian" is what I think one blogger calls him.
Here is a side by side with an original '75 mini. As you may be able to see, the original is a tad bit larger than the Lineage version.
In the comparison below, you can see exactly how much bigger the original is. A littlwe wider and a little longer.
What's it all mean? Nothing really, just pointing out the slight discrepancy in size. Yes, I am weird like that.

And another thing. Night Owl is giving away a sweet batch of game-used jersey cards. Head over there and get them.

  1. I think the 1975 Topps look in this years Lineage is pretty cool. It is going to make me bust open a lot of packs now.
