I read somewhere on someone else's blog that the 2008 UD Masterpieces Justin Verlander card pictured him throwing the last pitch from his 07 no-hitter. A quick check of eBay revealed a five card lot of the desired cards. I got the lot for $5.80 shipped. I am now pulling a Joe C. and am trying for the rainbow of parallels.

very nice. I am probably the one who mentioned that. I have the white, red, and navy as well. It's one of my all time favorite cards.
ReplyDeleteGreat pickup. I never even knew that card existed and now I will have to go for the rainbow as well. I guess I have to since I was at the game with my sister and because the card is now one of my favorites and I don't even own it!
