Brandon Inge collected the 1000th hit of his career tonight. In his 10th season with the Tigers, this .238 hitter has endeared himself to fans like no other Tiger since Alan Trammell. Bobby Higginson had a following, but nothing like Inge. A great community guy. An above average 3rd baseman (most Tigers fans way way over exaggerate his defense).
