Beckett Wonders Why We Question Them?

A couple of guys I respect in the hobby have laid out exactly what is wrong at Beckett. Specifically their grading department.
SportsCards Uncensored, as usual, is spot on with his analysis.
Joe Collector has some great images of Beckett graded cards to compare to the Strasburg 1/1 that recently received a 9.5. A must see.
Check out both of their blogs. Then go ahead and watch this video. Just watch.

  1. So I take it if a card is clearly off center both on the front and the back, as long as it sells for $16,000, it still falls under the parameters of a 9. Makes sense to me.

  2. At least Beckett can only go downhill from this embarrassment. They don't even try to hide the corruption anymore. Actually, they stopped hiding it when they started publishing the graded card price guide.

  3. And they continue to suck and blow at the same time.
