I am not a big football card guy. I am a big Upper deck guy though. Less companies producing cards is bad for the hobby. More choices and more competition only improves the overall quality of the offerings.
One of the main reasons I decided to build the 2008 UD Goudey Graphs set was the ON-CARD autographs. Knowing Nettles handled a card then signed it is cool. Knowing a guy handled a sheet of stickers, not nearly as cool.
