300th Post

I started this blog back in December 2009. I was reading a lot of great blogs about cards, and thought I would throw my baseball hat into the fray. After less than a year, I am at my 300th post. In honor of the milestone, I am going to show off a box of 2010 UD Sweet Spot Football that I recently acquired from BB's Sports Cards in Grand Rapids Michigan.
Tonight, I present the Sweet Swatches. Stafford, Favre, Moon, Elway, and Brown. A pretty solid selection for a guy that's a Lions fan, and was an Oilers fan as a kid.
I am quite blah about Panini's offerings. I am kind of bent outta shape at Topps for monopolizing things. So, I returned to Upper Deck. Some of my favorite sets are Upper Deck sets.
The Sweet Spot set features players in their college uni's. You can see set details here. I will show off some of the auto's and base cards later.

I would like to pass out a few thank-you's to fellow bloggers and readers.
Mario Alejandro you're missed
Dayf the Cardboard Junkie had one of the first blogs that I read daily.
Chris of Stale Gum helped me answer some questions about the hobby after my return to it in 08, and didn't make me feel like a nuisance.
Thorzul and I completed a trade. My first. You always remember your first.
Paul at CCC and I tried our hand at a dual group break thing. I folded, he trudged on. What a guy!
Dan at Grand Cards for the Detroit Tigers focus, and awesome checklists.
Joe Collector for the breaks.
Bad Wax for the Craigslist Idiots. I miss those.
The list could go on and on. The web friendships I have made are special to me.
Thanks for reading. Peace.
